This paper explore how to build infrastructure for new economic models and paradigms by utilizing innovative finance and blended investment models to resource organizations with progressive models for economics, finance, and business. Finance and resources play vital roles in developing lasting systemic structural change in society. The paper explores topics such as “How are we investing in systems?”, and “How are we building new economic infrastructures?”


One Project

Movements for post-capitalist futures go by many names and have carried many lineages. Today, this work might look like work being done in the realms of solidarity economies, mutual aid, cooperatives, commoning, Just Transitions, participatory democracy, and broader global justice movements. In the future, it could take other forms that have yet to emerge.

One Project collaborates with people to build tools, systems and support for the futures ahead by building deep relationships with communities who share a vision for a new economy. The organizatio works alongside these communities to co-create social and digital infrastructure, and also offers material support to nurture a growing ecosystem of collective action.

Global Polycrisis as Pathway for Economic Transition

There are many terms that have emerged to describe the interconnected and self-reinforcing nature of various global challenges - ie. Metacrisis, Polycrisis, Great Simplification, Great Turning. This piece written by Zack Walsh and developed in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) explores the Polycrisis as a pathway for economic transitions and frames economic alternatives as a necessary response to these interconnected challenges.
